Dr. Dana Clark to Discuss Treatments for Hip,
Knee Pain at McKee Women’s Program May 10

Treatments for hip and knee pain are the topics of a free community talk that Dr. Dana Clark will give on Thurs., May 10, as part of McKee Medical Center’s Spirit of Women program.

The McKee Spirit of Women program and Gold’s Gym are hosting the event, which takes place from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. The program is free and open to the public. To register, call McKee at 970-203-6631 or go online at www.bannerhealth.com/mckeespirit. Gold’s Gym is located at 910 E. Eisenhower Blvd. in Loveland.

Dr. Clark specializes in taking care of people who suffer from hip or knee pain. He has advanced training in hip and knee replacement surgery and holds board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Clark has been a member of the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies since 2009. He sees patients at OCR’s offices in Loveland and Fort Collins.

Dr. Clark’s talk will include information on anteriorеКhip replacement surgery. With this technique, the surgeon operates on the hip from the front instead of the side or rear of the joint.

The May 10 event will also include informational displays and demonstrations, plus light refreshments.

The Spirit of Women event and Dr. Clark’s talk will help educate women on the various causes and different treatments of hip and knee pain, including total joint surgery.

Problems affecting the major joints of the body like the hips and knees can cause persistent pain, interfere with daily living and restful sleep, and develop into more serious problems which can become difficult and complicated to treat. Women are invited to learn about how early, correct diagnosis and surgical treatment can be the answer to solving their painful problems.
