Dr. Emily Wasko Joins OCR as a Podiatry, Foot-Ankle Specialist

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Podiatrist Dr. Emily Wasko has joined the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies as a specialist in foot and ankle care.

Appointments with Dr. Wasko may be made at OCR’s offices in Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley. The practice’s scheduling line, 970-419-7050, is staffed 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week.

Dr. Wasko’s first day of appointments is June 27.

“I truly enjoy helping the individuals I take care of regain better use of their feet and ankles so they can return to the activities and work they enjoy,” Wasko said.

“We’re very pleased to have Dr. Wasko join our office, and bring her expertise and perspective in podiatry care,” said Dr. Rocci Trumper, who is OCR’s board president.

Dr. Wasko had most recently practiced at a podiatry office in Cleveland, Ohio, and at the Cleveland Clinic’s Southpointe Hospital Wound Healing Center, for the past four years (2012-2016).

Prior to her private practice in Cleveland, she completed her three-year residency training program in podiatric medicine and surgery in 2012, at University Hospitals-Richmond Heights Hospital in Cleveland.

Dr. Wasko earned her podiatry medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (2009). She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Ohio (2005), where she graduated magna cum laude.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Wasko spends time with her husband Brian. Their interests include downhill skiing and enjoying the outdoors with their two dogs.
