Our 7th Annual Total Joint Surgery Walk on Sept. 8

The Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies is holding its seventh МВTotal Joint Surgery WalkМЁ forits patients at its Fort Collins office on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012.

The walk celebrates the health and success that thousands of OCR patients have enjoyed following joint replacement surgery.

Invitations to the free event will be mailed to OCR’s recent total joint patients in August.The guests include people who have undergone hip, knee, and ankle replacement surgery.

The event begins with registration at 10 a.m. The walk gets underway at 10:30 along the cityМ_s Spring Creek and Poudre River Trails. ItМ_s followed by lunch, a welcome by the Orthopaedic & Spine Center physicians, and a talk by Jack Retzlaff, who will speak on his experiences and the similarities between preparing for his own joint replacement operation andclimbingthe state’s highest peaks.

The Total Joint Surgery Walk takes place at the Orthopaedic & Spine Center, 2500 E. Prospect Road. Participants may walk any distance they are able to, including the official two-mile distance, depending on their health. OCR is located near the junction of the Spring Creek and Poudre River Trails, part of the cityМ_s bicycle-pedestrian trail system. Parking is readily available in OCRМ_s lots.
