What is A Concussion?
A concussion is a mild injury that disrupts how the brain normally works. It is caused by a sudden blow or jolt to the head that causes the brain to move back and forth. You do NOT need to be knocked out or lose consciousness to have a concussion.
Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies provides comprehensive, highly specialized concussion care for residents of northern Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska.
Our specialists have knowledge that comes from years of experience focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of concussions. They take care of athletes and others who have sustained a head injury in a motor vehicle accident or at work throughout the day in clinic.
