Rachel was born at the military base in San Diego and grew up in Ohio, where she obtained a Biology degree from University of Dayton in 2017. Her family often vacationed in Colorado where they would go on backpacking trips and visit with extended family in Boulder. Following undergrad, she followed the lead of her family and moved to Aspen Colorado, where she began working as a medical assistant and DME manager in orthopedic surgery. After spending several years skiing, backpacking, and being exposed to many orthopedic injuries, she was accepted into Colorado Mesa University’s PA Program. Rachel obtained her PA certification in May of 2024 and began working at OCR with Dr. Javernick’s team shortly after. She enjoys gardening, painting, and backpacking with her partner Daniel. She hopes to stay on the Front Range and enjoy a new part of Colorado.
