The Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies provides a comprehensive and personalized spine care program designed to help you:
- understand your back problem or neck condition;
- return to an active, productive lifestyle;
- learn how to minimize recurring episodes of spine problems and pain.
Our physicians and staff have provided specialized care for many years, and are committed to ensuring that you get the best, most comprehensive care.
Our specialists, Robert Benz, MD, William Biggs, MD, and Matthew Gerlach, MD have advanced (fellowship) training, board certification, and years of experience in spine care and all facets of lumbar, thoracic, and cervical surgery. Fellowships provide orthopaedic surgeons with an additional, sixth year of focused surgery in their specialty area.
Because our physicians specifically focus on spine care, they can provide you with top-notch care from some of the best specialists.
Our intent is to address your concerns quickly and effectively, whether your problem is the result of an inherited disorder, a work or play injury, or pain that develops over time. We look at the psychological, social, and vocational issues that may be a part of the problem, and tailor your custom treatment program accordingly to provide you with comprehensive spine care.
Drs. Benz, Biggs, and Gerlach can guide your care through surgery or conservative treatment.
Dr. Biggs also specializes in the care of scoliosis and other conditions that affect children and teen-agers.
Physician Assistants Nancy McRae, PA-C and Danielle Talbert, PA-C, are also part of OCR’s team of spine specialists.
OCR also offers the services of physiatrists, who are physicians specializing in chronic pain management and rehabilitation. The physiatrist have their own independent practices in the community, and also see patients at OCR’s offices.
