About Rocci Trumper, MD
Dr. Rocci Trumper is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and knee sports medicine specialist who has patient appointments available at our Fort Collins office. Patients with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, meniscal tears or other sports-related knee injuries may schedule appointments with the Trumper Sports Medicine and ACL Clinic through Dr. Trumper’s staff directly at 970-419-7282.
Dr. Trumper is a fellowship trained sports medicine and knee specialist who has focused exclusively on the evaluation and treatment of knee issues since 2002. His practice is focused on helping patients of all ages requiring knee surgery, including:
- Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repair and reconstruction.
- Arthroscopic meniscal repair.
- Patellar realignment procedures.
- Robotic total knee replacement.
- Partial knee replacement.
- Cartilage restoration procedures.
He has performed over 5,000 anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions in his career and has remained active in research and clinical outcomes through the Progressive Research in Sports Medicine (PRISM) Foundation. Continued collection of surgical and outcomes data has allowed Dr. Trumper to develop and utilize novel surgical technologies that reduce post-operative complications, stiffness and arthritis.
Dr. Trumper also provides surgical care for the growing population of patients needing total or partial knee replacements. He currently performs robotic-assisted knee replacements in OCR’s surgical centers and Poudre Valley Hospital.
Dr. Trumper serves as a team physician for Colorado State University, the Colorado Eagles hockey team and local high school teams. He holds board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, together with subspecialty fellowship training in orthopaedic sports medicine. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM).
He is a native of Holyoke, Colorado and cares for patients from a multistate service area.
