Orthopaedics Symposium Planned for Oct. 8, 2011
Primary Care Physician, Chiropractic, and Therapy Offices Are Invited
The physicians of the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies are hosting and presenting a one-day professional conference on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Loveland, CO.
Presentations and updates on various aspects of orthopaedics for primary care and occupational medicine physician offices, chiropractors, and therapists will be covered at the symposium.
The conference is designed for family practice, internal medicine, pediatric, urgent care, and occupational medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists, and chiropractors.
Application is being made for Continuing Medical Education credits (or CEU’s) for attendees. Previous OCR conferences have offered 1 hour of credit for each 1 hour of attendance by a guest, with approval given by local health systems. It is anticipated that the event would provide a maximum of 5.0 hours of education/credit, depending on the exact length of the symposium and a guest’s actual attendance.
The conference will be held from 7:00 a.m., when breakfast and check-in begin, through 2:30 p.m. The event is expected to offer four hours of presentations and one hour of break-out lab sessions. Cost to attend will be $30. The fee will cover breakfast, lunch, mid-morning beverage break, and course materials.
