Since 1969, the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies (OCR) has proudly served the communities of Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska with specialized orthopaedic care. Established through the merger of OCR and Front Range Orthopaedics & Spine in 2021, our partnership forms one of the largest privately-owned orthopaedic and spine medical groups in Colorado and the U.S.

We offer a dynamic network of board-certified specialists across various orthopaedic areas to address each patient’s unique needs. Our practice encompasses a range of specialized services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, certified athletic training, digital X-ray, MRI imaging, outpatient surgery, casting, splinting, and more.

A Brief History of OCR

Founded in 1969 as Fort Collins Orthopaedic Associates, OCR has been instrumental in advancing orthopaedic care in the region. Our four founding physicians—Drs. Charles Collopy, Robert Johnson, Benedict Magsamen, and Douglas Murray—played pivotal roles in establishing orthopaedic specialty services and pioneering advancements in patient care. Over the years, OCR has expanded its services and locations to meet the growing demand for orthopaedic care, with more offices being established in Greeley, Lafayette, Longmont, Loveland, and Westminster.

Through our continued dedication to excellence and innovation, OCR remains committed to providing exceptional orthopaedic and spine care to individuals of all ages across Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska.
