Dr. Ryan L. Hartman Earns Board Certification
in Orthopaedic Surgery

Dr. Ryan L. Hartman of the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies has achieved board certification in orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. Hartman recently passed his board certification examination administered by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

The exam consists of a lengthy written exam and an intensive interview and review of patients‰ЫЄ surgeries.

Dr. Hartman, who is a graduate of Fort Collins High School, joined OCR in January 2011 as a specialist in pediatric orthopaedics and sports medicine. He takes care of children with various orthopaedic conditions, and athletes of all ages with knee or shoulder injuries.

Prior to joining OCR, he completed two advanced (fellowship) training programs at Children‰ЫЄs Hospital in Aurora, CO, and the Cincinnati Sports Medicine Center in Ohio (2009-2010).

Prior to fellowship training, Dr. Hartman completed his five-year orthopaedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN (2004-09). He earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado (2000-2004) and his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, (1999).

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hartman enjoys spending time with his family as well as traveling, playing tennis, running, reading, and skiing.
