OCR Hosts Fourth Annual Joint Walk

Orthopaedic Center of the Rockies Hosts Fourth Annual Joint Walk on Sept. 12

The Orthopaedic Center of the Rockies is holding its fourth МВJoint WalkМЁ for surgery patients at its Fort Collins office on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009. The walk celebrates the health and success that thousands of patients have enjoyed after joint replacement surgery.

Invitations to the free event will be mailed to OCR’s total joint patients this summer.

The event begins with registration at 10 a.m. The walk gets underway at 10:30 along the cityМ_s Spring Creek and Poudre River Trails. ItМ_s followed by lunch, a welcome by Orthopaedic Center doctors, and remarks by a guest speaker.

The Joint Walk takes place at the Orthopaedic Center (OCR), 2500 E. Prospect Road. Participants may walk any distance they choose, including the official two-mile distance length, depending on their health. OCR is situated by the Spring Creek and Poudre River Trails, part of the cityМ_s bicycle-pedestrian trail system. Parking is readily available in OCRМ_s lots.
