Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies Hosts
9th Annual Total Joint Surgery Walk on Sept. 6

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies is holding the ninth Total Joint Surgery Walk for patients at its Fort Collins office on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014.

The walk celebrates the health and success that thousands of OCR patients have enjoyed following joint replacement surgery.

Invitations to the free event will be mailed in August to OCR’s recent total joint patients. The guests include people who have undergone hip, knee, and ankle replacement surgery.

Co-sponsoring the event is the PVH-MCR Foundation, which is part of University of Colorado Health.

The event begins with registration at 10 a.m. The walk gets underway at 10:30 along the city’s Spring Creek and Poudre River Trails. It’s followed by lunch, and a program that includes the OCR physicians.

The Total Joint Surgery Walk takes place at OCR, 2500 E. Prospect Road. Participants may walk any distance, including the official two-mile distance, depending on their health.

OCR is located near the junction of the Spring Creek and Poudre River Trails, part of the city’s bicycle-pedestrian trail system. Parking is available in OCR’s lots.
