About Andrew Stith, MD

Dr. Andrew Stith is an orthopaedic surgeon who provides specialty care for foot and ankle injuries and conditions.

In his practice, Dr. Stith focuses on complex, reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle as a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon. He also takes care of a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

Dr. Stith completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners/Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He completed his Foot and Ankle fellowship at the Coughlin Foot and Ankle Clinic in Boise, Idaho. Fellowship programs provide orthopaedic surgeons with an additional year of focused patient care and training in their specialty, following the completion of their residency.

The doctors treat all types of foot and ankle problems, ranging from sprains and athletic injuries to complications from diabetes that affect the foot and ankle, as well as major ankle reconstruction and ankle replacement surgery.

His outside interests include spending time with his wife, enjoying the outdoors and traveling internationally with her. His other hobbies include running marathons, cross-country skiing, leathercraft, woodworking, fly-fishing, and working on his family’s cattle ranch in Wyoming. He previously worked as a wildland firefighter and competed in bareback bronc riding for the University of Wyoming. Work that involves solving problems and using his hands is what influenced his decision to become a surgeon.
