About Thomas Sachtleben, MD
Dr. Thomas Sachtleben is a Board-Certified Sports Medicine Specialist. He can also sees patients at the CSU Health Network – Hartshorn Center on the Colorado State University campus.
Dr. Sachtleben has extensive experience in Sports Medicine and Non-Surgical Orthopaedics, including appointments as a team physician for the U.S. Ski Team and the Colorado Rockies. He also works with high school teams in Fort Collins.
Dr. Sachtleben holds board certification in sports medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine. In addition, he has fellowship (advanced) training in sports medicine and completed his fellowship at Moses Cone Hospital and Murphy / Wainer Orthopedics in Greensboro, NC. Fellowships provide an additional year of focused experience in a specialized area of medicine.
Dr. Sachtleben completed his residency training program at the University of Florida and joined OCR in 2008, following three years in practice at Associates in Family Medicine. He previously practiced in Colorado Springs and Steamboat Springs for seven years.
Dr. Sachtleben takes care of patients from OCR’s service area of Northern Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys the Colorado outdoors and spending time with his family
