About Robert Benz, MD
Dr. Robert Benz is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the surgical care of patients with spinal disorders. His practice offers conservative and comprehensive care for the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Procedures that Dr. Benz commonly performs include disc replacement surgery for the cervical and lumbar spine, minimally invasive surgery for disc herniations and spinal stenosis, and a wide variety of techniques to correct adult scoliosis including minimally invasive anterior and lateral approaches to the spine. He also has a vast experience in performing anterior and posterior surgical solutions for cervical spine disorders including laminaplasty, foraminotomy, and cervical decompression and fusion.
Dr. Benz has authored book chapters and journal articles relating to the care of back and neck disorders. He holds board certification through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
